After that finale, I’m expecting a flood of shipfics based on our ponies finding a new appreciation and understanding for one another after having to spend a day in one anothers’ hooves and being completely helpless.
I fully intend to contribute to it.
Tonight I felt like drawing some Apple family OC ponies.
On the top is Pacific Rose, Applejack’s cousin from the west coast. She’s laid-back and a little absent-minded, but is actually an accomplished botanist.
In the middle is Amberleaf. Mainly I just wanted to design a mare who’s built like Big Mac cause I would love to see a pony like that on the show. She’s gentle and has a dry sense of humor.
On the bottom is Hayride. He’s energetic and excitable and good with farm equipment, but can be a little moody.

Tauries is obvious. I’m thinking Aquaricorn and Librago too. Maybe Manticore (Leo/Scorpio) and Cances. I also like Lancer though, since they both like costumes.
I’m not gonna ship Gemini cause I find that weird, but someone will. Not sure about Sagittarius but he’s a cutie.
